How are the 10 weeks structured?
Each week includes reading the module content, watching short pedagogical videos, submitting assignments, participating in discussion forums, and responding to facilitator posts. Do I have to be online at a certain time?
No, our courses don't have time-specific commitments. Work at your own pace but remember that weekly assignments and discussion forum posts are due by midnight Pacific every Tuesday.
-
How much time do I need to commit each week?
The time commitment varies based on your experience, comfort with online learning, and personal investment. On average, participants dedicate six or more hours weekly.
-
How am I assessed?
Expert string teacher facilitators use marking rubrics. Each week you will receive personal feedback and two grades—one for your assignment and one for discussion forum participation. The summative portfolio in week 10 is marked for completeness.
