Remote Practical Exam Overview
Remote practical exams are open for registration on an ongoing basis. The overview below outlines the specific conditions for each discipline.
- Students should refer to their MyRCM account for important exam details.
- A confirmation email will be sent to students once the date and time of their remote exam is scheduled.
- If you have not yet received your confirmation email, please check that the email address associated with your account is correct and add [email protected] to your safe-sender list.

General Conditions
- For your exam, you need a smartphone (iOS or Android), tablet (iOS or Android), or a computer with webcam and mic (PC or Mac). A smartphone or tablet is recommended (instead of a computer).
- You need a reliable, high speed (1.5Mbps and faster) Internet connection. For best results, ensure that others in your exam location are not using the same Internet connection during your exam.
- During the exam, the examiner must be able to see you performing on your instrument and must be able to clearly hear your performance. You need the appropriate instrument(s) available at your location.
