With over five years of experience teaching students from beginner to advanced levels, I strive to build a strong musical foundation for my students while helping them express their musicality to the fullest. My students have consistently excelled in RCM examinations and local music festivals, achieving notable accomplishments such as First Class Honours with Distinction in the RCM Grade 6 exam and winning awards at the North York Music Festival. Part of my goal of piano teaching is to create a positive, engaging learning environment that nurtures a lifelong enthusiasm for music. As a registered teacher with ORMTA, my students have access to unique opportunities, including participation in holiday concerts, scholarship performances, and masterclasses organized by the association. Additionally, I encourage my students to actively participate in local music festivals, such as the North York Music Festival and the Kiwanis Music Festival, to showcase their talents and gain valuable experience. Growing up in a music-loving family, I was immersed in classical music from a young age. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance with honors from Western University, studying under Stéphan Sylvestre, one of the most sought-after Canadian pianists and piano pedagogues. To further my musical development, I have attended various summer festivals, including Festival Orford Musique and AmiCaFest-Sicily. Beyond solo performance, I bring extensive experience as a piano accompanist, collaborating with musicians in recitals, masterclasses, juries, and competitions. I welcome students of all ages and abilities to join my studio. I believe anyone can learn the piano with a strong desire and commitment. As a teacher, I believe that dedication and a genuine passion for music are the keys to success at the piano.
