Tracey Ford

I am a full-time private voice instructor with over 15 years of private teaching experience. My speciality is children and adolescents, but I also teach adult beginners. I love instilling a life-long passion for music and singing in all of my students. I have my own space which is welcoming and comfortable my students, especially my younger students. They love the playful, fun atmosphere of my teaching space! Many of my private students are recognized as outstanding performers in their school and in the community. Many performing leading roles in local musicals, achieve recognition in Solo and Ensemble Festivals and are selected for IMEA Festivals. I have students who have pursued Bachelor and Master of Music Degrees in Musical Theatre, Vocal Performance and Music Education. I aim to set my students up for success as singers after they leave my studio. I have a Doctorate in Vocal Performance and Literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I am a Certified Teacher in Elementary and Intermediate Voice and I have prepared students for over 50 successful exams from Preparatory Level through Level 8.
