Terri Yu

I am a dedicated piano instructor with 16 years of teaching experience. Prior to teaching, I performed and competed in numerous music festivals, earning awards and scholarships. I hold the ARCT diploma in Piano Performance, as well as Elementary and Intermediate Piano Pedagogy from the Royal Conservatory of Music. I have extensive experience teaching students of all ages in private and group settings, particularly those aged 4 to 17. My students consistently excel in local festivals such as the Toronto Kiwanis Festival, North York Music Festival, and Unionville Music Competition. Many of them have won awards, scholarships, and some advanced to Provincial Competitions, demonstrating their talent and commitment. In my free time, I enjoy playing badminton, practicing yoga and pilates. I love to travel and adore dogs, although I don't have one myself.
