Susan Boone Upton

I am a Delmarva native who studied at Goucher College, The Boston Conservatory, and the Maryland Institute of Voice. I have been teaching piano and voice for twenty years, and I also teach Musikgarten classes for young children. I direct two local children's choirs, as well as local children's theater programs. My certifications include: American College of Musicians (piano instruction), Musikgarten (Early Childhood Music and group piano), and RCM (Elementary & Intermediate Voice, Elementary & Intermediate Piano). My students have won numerous State Awards from RCM in Maryland, in addition to one National Gold Medal Winner in Voice. Several of my graduates have gone on to pursue careers in music and/or theater. I enjoy performing with Salisbury Chamber Singers, Community Players of Salisbury, and Lower Shore Performing Arts Company. It is the joy of my life to share the love of music and performing with students of all ages!
