Stefan Melnychenko

Music is my life’s passion and an integral driving force therein; for me the only thing more fulfilling than playing music is sharing my love of music with others, whether that be through teaching, performing, or mentoring. My name is Stefan Melnychenko, and my relationship with music began early in life: as a child growing up in Winnipeg Manitoba, I began playing Piano at the age of 4 and completed my Level 10 in Piano at the age of 15. My captivation with music inspired me to explore other instruments of all different types and origins. I now play nine instruments as well as sing. My teaching style often focuses on including Music Theory to differing degrees as I believe that understanding the language and mechanics behind music is integral in understanding the instrument or composition itself. I offer Home/Demo Recording both as a service to facilitate amateur musicians in being able to obtain and share professional grade recordings of themselves, and also as an educational experience for those interested in learning more about the recording process and studio experience. I enjoy meeting and discussing music with novice students as well as seasoned professionals alike. I look forward to hearing from you and finding the proper fits for your musical needs!
