Sophia Tan

I have taught students of all ages (2-75 years old) for over 37 years. Although the piano is my main instrument, I also teach all levels of theory, harmony, and history. My studio is a comfortable place where my students play on my 101-year-old grand piano. I enjoy all the RCM levels of piano, as well as the fun stuff too! There is so much to learn in pop music, jazz and ragtime, contemporary styles, and the great classics, of course. I enjoy teaching it all. I also take the RCM examinations seriously, as I prepare my students well in advance and give them mock exams myself.
