Sinyu Tsang holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Music from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a DipABRSM in Piano Performance from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. Since 2010, she has taught piano privately and at ICQM Primary and Secondary School. Sinyu has performed as a soloist and accompanist, and she had over 10 years of experience as a church pianist.
Sinyu has extensive experience teaching the RCM, ABRSM, and Trinity syllabuses. She garnered a reputation for her diverse teaching methods and patience. Her lessons combine music appreciation with a focus on practical techniques, intellectual interpretation, and natural artistry.
Her students range from beginner to diploma level. They develop their interests and build self-confidence through interactive, performance-based learning. Most of her students advance to higher levels and achieve outstanding results in festivals and exams. Some of her students have been accepted into Bachelor of Music (BMus) programs at UBC, U of T, McGill, HKBU, etc.
