Shirley Wright is an active performer and teacher in Calgary and surrounding areas.
Shirley completed a Bachelor of Music Degree at McGill University and a Bachelor of Education Degree at the University of Prince Edward Island. She enjoys working with all levels of students. She uses a blend of materials from the Royal Conservatory of Music, Suzuki Method, and some traditional and pop music adds some spice to student's experience in learning cello. Shirley teaches in her home studio in SW Calgary and is also available for online sessions.
Shirley performs with the Calgary Civic Orchestra, the Symphony of the Kootenays, as well as smaller chamber groups in the city. She is excited to be presenting some outdoor concerts this coming summer.
