It brings me great joy to teach piano music of many genres including classical and popular music to kids. For me, it's not just about teaching students to play the music notes but enabling each student to bring musicality into their playing style. Depending on the capabilities of a student, we can eventually explore improvising, adding creative elements to songs, and developing skills to apply to other formats such as lead sheets, etc. I have a friendly, relatable and encouraging personality. I view all students as having unique awesomeness with musical potential.
