Shan Pei

I have been working in the People’s Music Publishing House since 2014, and I started serving as Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Copyright Center of the People’s Music Publishing House in 2023. During my employment in the Publishing House, I have won national- and provincial/ministerial-level honors 5 times, including being funded by the National Publication Foundation, being selected as a Publishing Industry Development Planning Project in the 14th “Five-Year Plan” Period of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the CPC and a High-quality Project of Chinese National Music Inheritance and Publishing Program, etc.. I have been long devoted to the exploration and innovation in the music education and publishing field and have published 121 types of books as Executive Editor, Editor in Charge, etc., with a total price above RMB120 million. I have worked closely with dozens of well-known music publishing houses around the world and we published a series of world-renowned music textbooks jointly, such as “Suzuki Violin School Violin Part Series”, “Suzuki Cello School Cello Part Series”, and “At the Piano”. Moreover, by virtue of my extensive expertise in music, I successfully joined the China Musicians Association, was appointed as a member of the Review Committee for National Social Music Education Textbooks of the Emerging Music Education Working Committee of the China Musicians Association, and became the first teacher in China with the international “Colourstrings” teaching qualification and Chief Teacher and General Contact Person of Colourstrings International Teachers Association (China).
