Ruth Wainwright

Ruth’s career began in Calgary, where she successfully built her home studio to include 60 students participating in weekly lessons. Ruth relocated to Nanaimo in 2006 and currently teaches from her home studio in North Nanaimo. Music has been an integral part of Ruth’s life from a very young age and she believes in spreading the love of music through the lessons she teaches. Ruth has experience working with students of all ages, who have many different learning needs and styles. This experience comes from her time as a private Music teacher as well as her experience working as an Educational Assistant in private learning centres as well as the public school system. Ruth’s strengths as a teacher include finding creative ways to support a student in learning, while keeping the students engaged and excited to learn.
