Roselynn Reed

I hold an Honours Bachelor of Music (BMus Hons) from Wilfrid Laurier University. I have enjoyed teaching piano at the Beckett School at Laurier for 30 years. I now teach in my own studio at my home. I teach Primary, Intermediate and Advanced piano students as well as Rudiments. I enjoy exploring new and creative methods of teaching by reading and attending piano pedagogy courses and conferences online and in person. I have a very creative approach to learning and include the use of many games and incentives. I personalize instruction for each student to ensure they are engaged in learning at an appropriate level and are enjoying their experience in music. When beneficial, I encourage students to work towards formal RCM exams. My primary goal for each student is to ensure that the learning and playing of music brings joy for a lifetime.
