Roland Gjernes

Welcome to my private downtown cello studio! With over 15 years of experience in performing and teaching, I personally teach each student to keep track of their development. Lessons are offered both in-person or virtually to students of all levels. I toured and performed with the hit Broadway Musical Hamilton: An American Musical, all across North America, around the world with Lincoln Centre Stage, and maintain an active performing and recording career - frequently recording for films and video games. I graduated of the Manhattan School of Music with a Masters in cello performance, and received an Undergraduate degree from the University of Ottawa in cello performance.
