Paulette Popp holds an ARCT in piano pedagogy from The Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto, and a Bachelor of Arts and Education with First Class Honours in French Language and Literature, from the University of British Columbia. Paulette taught High School French in North Vancouver for several years, before marrying, starting a family, and moving to Hamburg, Germany with her husband who worked for Price Waterhouse International.
Four years later, they returned to Canada and settled in the Greater Toronto Area, where Paulette decided to return to piano lessons, and work towards her Diploma in Piano Pedagogy.
Paulette's principal teachers were George McElroy (piano), John Graham (music history), Joe J. Ringhofer (harmony, counterpoint, and analysis) and Christine Gale Harrison (violin).
Now retired from teaching after 25+ years membership in the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association, Paulette continues as a lifelong learner, composer, and aficionado of all things musical!
