Ness Wong

Ness is a multi-disciplinary artist and a recent graduate of the University of Toronto. They have had the privilege of teaching and working in education with many organizations, including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Sistema Toronto, and the University of Toronto; since 2016, they have also been teaching cello to a wide variety of students from elementary school age to adults. Ness' approach to teaching focuses on bringing out the spark of joy that music can create in musicians. To them, the most important thing in lessons is to have fun and try your best - always look for improvement, not perfection! Their lessons prioritize the student's enjoyment of music alongside a personalized curriculum. They are open to all students who want to learn the cello for fun; they are also open to anyone who wants to learn the cello up to RCM Level 9.
