Mermi Vosough is a certified piano teacher at the Royal Conservatory of Music Canada with over 22 years of teaching experience and 32 years of experience in Piano Performance.
Mermi Vosough has pursued her education in Music Education at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, further enriching her understanding of teaching methodologies and educational practices.
Mermi has also achieved the Conservatory Diploma of Music.
Her musical journey began with Orf lessons at the age of six and progressed to piano lessons at eight, under the guidance of well-known, professional Armenian teachers.
With 32 years of piano-playing experience, she has honed her skills and has had the privilege of performing publicly. Notably, she received a first-place award for best piano performance at the Beethoven Music Festival in 2004.
Throughout her career, Mermi has taught piano at esteemed music schools such as Nava Music Academy, PlayMusic Inc., and Dolce Melody in BC, Canada.
In 2019, she founded Mermi Music Studio, which has now blossomed into Mermi Music Academy. As the director of the academy, she takes pride in hosting an exceptional community of talented students and their supportive families. The academy has become known for its welcoming and inspiring atmosphere, fostering a love for music and nurturing students' musical growth.
