For over 13 years, I have been teaching music subjects with the goal of creating joyful learning experiences that inspire students to reach their full potential. Whether I am teaching music theory, harmony, solfege, piano, or elementary school music, I prioritize understanding the individual needs of my students or the group as a whole. I continually seek solutions that best fit their learning styles. Additionally, I strive to learn more about my students and acquire new skills to enhance my teaching.
Currently, my focus is on teaching piano. In my lessons, I emphasize analyzing pieces to help students gain a deeper understanding of both the music and the theory behind it. Every lesson is a dynamic process that requires flexibility and adaptation. Students' success is important to me, so I make an effort to listen to their needs and adjust my teaching methods to align with their preferences. If a student wishes to explore repertoire beyond classical music, I gladly support them in finding pieces that they will enjoy learning, practicing, and playing. I believe this approach fosters their imagination and creativity, which I aim to nurture.
My expectations for students vary based on their goals for the class. However, I strive to ensure that every student develops a solid understanding of rhythm, steady beat, note reading, and music theory.
