Hello,
I'm thrilled you're here!
My passion led me to pursue music and the arts into adulthood; as a teacher, performer, and advocate for the arts. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Classical Voice Performance, further obtaining a Bachelor of Education Degree, to become an Ontario Certified Teacher. Since then I have continued my professional development through music courses and workshops at the University of Western Ontario, York University, University of Toronto, and The Royal Conservatory of Music.
For over 20 years I have taught hundreds of students as a private voice teacher, workshop instructor, music director, and school teacher. My private students have successfully completed Royal Conservatory examinations in voice, piano, and theory. Many students have participated in numerous festivals and competitions in both classical and musical theatre categories, often advancing to the provincial level. I have proudly seen several students accepted to classical, jazz, and musical theatre programs at Sheridan College, Randolph College for the Performing Arts, University of Western Ontario, York University, Wilfred Laurier University, Humber College, St. Clair College, and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (New York City). It has been a privilege to watch numerous students achieve success as professional musicians and performers, and so many others have enriched their lives through the diverse benefits of music education.
