Creativity inspires me as an artist both musically and visually. I’ve taught piano lessons for over 17 years to children and youth from Beginners to Elementary and Intermediate levels, for RCM exam preparation, Kiwanis and Durham Music Festivals and Recitals. It is a joy and a privilege to teach and share my musical knowledge with each individual student, sometimes using our imagination to see the story and play of music. We all learn differently and it is important that each student has joy and confidence in this learning process! I’ve sang in School Choir, All County Choir, Swing Choir and Church Choir. In addition, I’ve also explored other instruments such as the recorder, ukulele, clarinet and hand-bells. Teaching children to play the hand-bells and sing in choir have been a highlight in my own musical career.
