I have been teaching piano for almost 20 years. I have a Diploma in Piano Performance (Classical), Bachelor of Music (History and Piano) and a MA in Musicology. Although classically trained, I enjoy playing popular and jazzy music, and have been the pianist for multiple musical theatre productions. My students typically focus on classical/RCM repertoire, with a mix of popular pieces from a variety of genres. It is important that my students enjoy the music that they play. My passion for music history and theory was utilized during my Musicology studies, which I share with my students.
