I am currently PhD2 in Music Studying at York University with a Graduate Diploma in Neuroscience. My current research is on the effects of music on the brain. I am working on the effects of dance on Parkinson's with the National Ballet School in Toronto and will start my project on the effects of choir singing on Parkinson's in fall. My main instrument is piano and I have over 30 years of experience in teaching classical music to different age groups of students. I teach the RCM curriculum and prepare my students for RCM exams as well as for competitions and annual concerts. I look at music beyond its entertainment aspects. Music is healing.
