Ms. Lee serves as a private instructor at the University of British Columbia School of Music roster and at her home studio. Prior to this, Ms. Lee served as a secondary instrument instructor at the University of British Columbia, where she also assisted with violin class in Jasper Wood’s studio. As a teacher, Ms. Lee has always demanded technical excellence and provided a customized pedagogical approach towards her pupils while paying close attention to learning styles to each individual. Ms. Lee’s students have achieved success in achieving personal goals, whether in auditions, competitions or exams.
Additionally, Ms. Lee served as a Sistema Music Instructor in both Edmonton and Vancouver. There, she would teach group lessons in public schools and outreach programs.
Currently, Ms. Lee is teaching at Vancouver Community College as a faculty member. She is also doctoral candidate in violin performance at the University of British Columbia. Ms. Lee holds a Master of Musical Arts degree under the tutelage of Dr. Martin Risely from the New Zealand School of Music. She also holds a Bachelor of Music from McGill University, Schulich School of Music, where she studied with Richard Roberts, Andrew Dawes and Mark Fewer.
