My name is Jessica, and I am a dedicated and experienced piano teacher with over thirty years of experience. I specialize in music theory and analysis and constantly strive to improve my teaching methods to ensure my students the best learning experience possible. Currently residing in beautiful Vancouver, Canada, I am also studying for my Master of Music degree, focusing on music education.
One area of particular interest for my research is the education of special needs children. Over the past twenty years of working as a music teacher, I have come across countless students who face different challenges in their learning process due to conditions such as Autism Disorder, ADHD, and children with learning disabilities.
I am passionate about creating inclusive learning environments that provide equal opportunities for every student to express themselves through music, regardless of their unique circumstances. I believe specialized teaching methods and customized lesson plans are necessary to achieve this. Therefore, I am committed to expanding my knowledge of special needs education. I firmly believe that in-depth research will help me better understand what alternative teaching approaches are necessary to tailor my lessons and methodology to the unique needs of every student.
I am deeply committed to providing equal opportunity for special needs children to learn and develop their musical skills. I aim to help these children achieve their full potential and thrive in an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
