Jessica Smith

With fifteen years of teaching experience, I absolutely adore teaching flute. I teach all ages and abilities in my home studio in Massachusetts, with an emphasis on teaching young beginners using the Suzuki method. My students participate in chamber music, state and national competitions, and community events. A native of Michigan, I received my bachelor’s in music performance from Eastern Michigan University. Then I traveled east to receive my master’s in music performance at Ithaca College, surrounded by the waterfalls and foliage. Now settled in Massachusetts, I love playing my flute alongside the beautiful birds and tall trees in my backyard. I strive to perform and teach from the heart, always approaching music with love, compassion, and dedication.
