Hi there! My name is Jessica. I love teaching and I firmly believe that music and playing an instrument should bring happiness to each student. I believe that even when students are working hard learning new techniques or new concepts, there must be fun built into the work! So, I have created an approach that mixes solid piano technique and learning of repertoire with whatever each student is passionate about. Learn to play Mozart, Bach, lead sheets, movie music, accompany the whole fam during sing-alongs, or improvise your own original ideas - we'll cover it all! With 25 years of teaching experience, I can craft a flexible lesson experience for each student that is joyful, enriching, and fully aligned with RCM standards. I believe in a growth mindset focus where the motto is "Practice makes progress!"
