Jeff Greenway

I am a piano, vocal, composition, songwriting and arranging teacher who teaches all ages, and specializes in teaching children ages 5 and up. I have a Diploma from Humber College for Piano (Jazz) with a minor in Vocal, as well as a teaching certificate from the Yamaha Music Foundation (Japan). I was a head teacher and authorized examiner for groups and private students at the flagship Yamaha Music School in Toronto for 30 years, where I also attended many teaching and education seminars. I have also studied pop/jazz/theatre vocal with Orville Heyn, arranging with John McLeod, and orchestration with John Herberman. As well as being a teacher, I am a professional film composer and songwriter who has produced several albums, and written music for short films and documentaries from New Zealand, India, the U.S. and Canada. I have studied composition, film music, orchestration and arranging at Humber College, Berklee College and the Canadian Film Centre.
