Introducing or reintroducing the piano to students of all ages and abilities is my greatest passion. I have extensively studied teaching methods for individuals with diverse backgrounds, including ADHD, ADD, Asperger's Syndrome, FAS, and giftedness. My belief is that every child has unique gifts, and it is my mission to help them discover and nurture these talents. With a decade of university education and a Master's Degree, I am well-equipped to provide high-quality piano instruction. My training includes the Royal Conservatory of Music piano and theory curriculum, and I have been honored with an "Inspiration" award at the Abbotsford, B.C. Piano Festival. Looking ahead, I envision teaching piano for many decades. Music is a universal language, comprehensible even to those who have lost the ability to speak. Each emotion has a corresponding song, and music is a profound tool for healing. When asked, "Would you ever like to do something else?" my answer is, "No! What I am doing now, I hope to continue indefinitely." My joy comes not only from playing the piano but also from forming meaningful connections with my students and guiding them in their musical journeys. I cannot imagine a more rewarding career.
