I'm a qualified piano teacher located in NYC. I teach piano, theory, and composition to students of all ages. Whether you're into classical, jazz, pop, or want to create your own music, let's work together to achieve your goals! As a piano teacher, my goal is to inspire students to become excellent musicians by providing a nurturing environment that encourages self-expression and personal growth through music. I believe that each student has unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles, so I tailor my teaching approach to their individual needs and goals, whether they're interested in classical, jazz, pop, or rock piano. I emphasize the development of good playing habits, including hand position, finger technique, posture, and music theory. At the same time, I encourage students to explore their own creativity and develop their musicality and artistry by helping them develop their listening skills and conveying their emotions and ideas through their playing. Ultimately, my mission is to prepare my students for a lifetime of musical enjoyment and achievement by providing them with the skills, knowledge, and passion to succeed as musicians.
