My name is Emyr Honeybun and I have been teaching piano for 9 years. I am originally from Wales, UK. I received a scholarship to attend the University of Wales, Cardiff in 2009, where I completed an undergraduate degree in Music. Following my graduation, I studied for a Masters Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Oxford. Over the course of my degrees I studied piano, conducting, harmony and composition and performed regularly in the UK as pianist and conductor. I moved to Vancouver, BC in 2016 and have continued my teaching with the Royal Conservatory program here in Canada.
In 2019, I founded Summit Music with a vision to provide Vancouver with high quality, ambitious piano tuition in-home, without compromise on performance opportunities and development.
My students have received Gold Medals in the North Shore Music Festival, First Class Honours with Distinction in their RCM Examinations and completed their Level 10 theory/history requirements.
