-Began teaching in 1995. -Private home studio: piano and theory -23 years as university professor teaching piano, piano literature, theory, and instrumental chamber music -Areas of expertise: solo piano, duo piano, piano literature, all levels of theory through to ARCT. -Degrees completed: BMus (University of Toronto; major teacher James Anagnoson); MMus, MMA and DMA (Yale University; major teacher Peter Frankl). -Summer studies with Boris Berman, Claude Frank, Jean-Paul Sevilla and Marek Jablonski at the Banff Center -piano four-hand study with Karl Ulrich-Schnabel -Recording artist: Marquis / EMI and Vanguard Classics labels. -Numerous broadcasts on CBC, NPR and BBC. -Hundreds of concerts including at Carnegie Hall and the Concertgebouw of Amsterdam -First prizes in international competitions. -Senior examiner for the Royal Conservatory of Music since 1990. -Adjudicator for numerous regional, provincial, national and international competitions. -Students have won prizes in local and international competitions.
