Greetings! I am Dmitri Levkovich, a Toronto-based piano teacher, concert pianist, and composer. I've won over 20 international piano competitions and performed as a soloist all over the world. Together with my wife, I maintain a selective piano studio in downtown Toronto (St. James Town/Cabbage Town). Our studio is equipped with two grand pianos. Currently, I am accepting new students for the Fall 2024 school year. Students of all levels are welcome. However, a commitment to daily practice is expected.
My students had performed with orchestras, won various piano competitions, as well as passed ARCT.
As a soloist, I've had the privilege of performing with world-class orchestras, including the Cleveland Orchestra, China National Orchestra, Dresden Philharmonic. I appeared on stages of the Berlin Philharmonie, Carnegie Hall, and Beijing Performing Arts Center’s Main Stage. My musical journey was significantly shaped by my teacher, Sergei Babayan (also the teacher of Daniil Trifonov), as well as my composition studies at the Curtis Institute of Music. My international piano competition victories include the China International (1st and Chopin Prizes), Cleveland (2nd, Chopin and Audience Prizes), German Piano Award (1st), Gina Bachauer (3rd), Jose Iturbi (1st), and the Vendôme Prize (2nd).
