I am passionate about my teaching. I love the piano and sharing the enjoyment of playing with my students. I have found the RCM Program to be an outstanding vehicle that supports student learning from Pre-K through college. Over the years this program has helped me maintain students' commitment to music study through high school and beyond. While I teach at the college level I prefer working with students middle-school through high school at our private school in Issaquah, Washington where we emphasize theory and performance. Music theory is basic for true music understanding and performance is an art that should be cultivated and developed alongside the learning process. Students that study with me stay eight years on average. They stay because they progress!
