50 years of teaching piano has given me the opportunity to keep learning more and more about how to play the piano, and especially how to help students learn techniques and musical concepts. It is always exciting to meet a new student and learn how together the student and I can best enable the student's learning, and expand their love of music. It is very important to me that students learn accuracy and musicality in their playing, so festivals, many recitals, and master classes are a mandatory part of the music year.
