Alma Batista

My name is Alma Batista, a pianist and composer with many years of experience teaching piano performance and music theory. I have studied at the Conservatorio de Music de Puerto Rico, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I earned a bachelor's and master's degrees in Piano Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and a Doctor of Music Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I teach private piano lessons at my studio in Riverside, California and at Moreno Valley College. Some of my compositions have earned awards from composition competitions in Puerto Rico.
