Allison Miller

With a propensity for asking questions and a tenacious curiosity, Allison fills her music with delicate details, imaginative inquiries, and artistic architecture. Allison has settled into her tenure as the Principal Flutist of the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra and has established herself as a leading pedagogue in the Saskatchewan flute community. Allison Miller is an award-winning flute pedagogue, having received the gold medal teaching award from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Ms. Miller runs a private studio of highly motivated flute students of all ages. She offers in-person lessons for students local to Saskatoon and teaches via zoom for students from further afield. Ms. Miller is also the Sessional Lecturer of Flute Performance at the University of Saskatchewan, where she maintains a studio of undergraduate and graduate students.
