There are currently 5 different Keyboard Clubs to choose from, some offered online and others in person. Read course descriptions below or choose your class now.

Keyboard Club I

Adult Keyboard Club I is a group piano class for adults who are working within a range of repertoire comprised in Levels 5, 6, and 7 of the RCM Certificate Program. We are currently working through the second part of Czerny's piano studies, opus 853, as well as Hanon exercises 1 to 30 from the Complete Hanon. We also do sight reading and ear training drills as well as scales and chords.

This course is for adults who may not want the intensity of private instruction and who appreciate the dynamics of group learning. The emphasis is on the study and enjoyment of great repertoire, rather than the pressure of having to prepare for examinations and live performance.

Pre-requisite: Students will be required to have access to an 88-key piano for practice and to purchase course materials. More information about materials will be provided in the first class.

Keyboard Club II

We are currently working through Czerny studies, Hanon exercises #'s 1-30, and other arrangements of both classical and popular music as seems fitting for the class at the moment.
