Course Description

Discover the beautiful sounds of steel pan!

This 12-week course for teachers includes 24 hours of in-person instruction and a final concert. During this course you'll learn about all aspects of steel pan:

  • History and Culture
  • Technique, Fundamentals, Scales, Rudiments, Exercises
  • Arranging with special guest 
  • Information about Pan Making, Tuning, Care and Maintenance with special guest
  • Improvisation
  • Playing Steelpan Tunes!
