Course Description

Professional Learning Community for Orff Teachers

This group meets monthly to support ongoing professional learning in music pedagogy using the Orff Approach. Participants explore repertoire and teaching strategies drawn from the Orff/Keetman Music for Children Volumes and other repertoire, and are encouraged to lead explorations and contribute suggestions for sessions. Expert guest presenters are regularly featured. This group will appeal to elementary music teachers, especially those with significant training and interest in the Orff Approach. This class is offered in person only, usually on the last Wednesday of each month, October to June.
