Music Theory Placement Tool

Course Description

RCM’s Music Theory Placement Tool enables students to self-assess their approximate music theory levels in the RCM curriculum by answering a series of questions and helps determine proficiency in each section of theory. By completing the placement test (approximately an hour in length), a customized learning recommendation will help identify gaps in theory knowledge – helping both students and teachers focus on key concepts and work towards the next theory level.
