Willard J. L'Heureux K.C.
Willard J. L'Heureux K.C. is a Canadian and a lawyer by profession. He is an investor in start up and early stage companies in Canada and Europe. Previously a partner at Torys LLP in Toronto and a senior executive and director of numerous public companies in Canada and Europe, he was President and CEO of Trizec Corporation Ltd of Calgary, and President of Hees International Corporation of Toronto (now a part of Brookfield Asset Management Ltd). A long-time community supporter, Mr. L'Heureux has been Chairman of Special Olympics Canada and Ontario, a director of numerous charitable organizations, and a Governor of the University of Toronto. For his contributions to amateur sport, particularly with the intellectually disabled, he has received the Queen's Golden and Diamond Jubilee Medals (in 2002 and 2012) plus numerous awards for volunteerism in Canada.
He is currently a Director and Vice Chair of The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and Executive Chairman of A’Postrophe Capital Partners Ltd, a private investment company.
In 2021, Bill and his wife Janet were appointed Honorary Fellows of the Royal Conservatory of Music for their philanthropic endeavours.
