Ms. Chaikowsky studied with Margaret Parsons-Poole, Alexander Floruk, and Boris Berlin. She has had master classes with Leon Fleisher and has taken courses in the Suzuki method of teaching.

Ms. Chaikowsky has been a member of the Piano Faculty at The Royal Conservatory since 1971. Her expertise is teaching children from ages 4 to 8. She prepares students for recitals, festivals, and examinations, and many former students have continued on to become educators and performers. Her studio also consists of enthusiastic amateurs. Ms. Chaikowsky is a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association (ORMTA) and is active in the community as an accompanist and chamber musician.

Ms. Chaikowsky is currently accepting new students and requires an interview prior to accepting any new students. Students must have access to a piano or electronic keyboard.
