Sama Zaferani is not just a devoted Elementary Music Teacher at her school; she meticulously crafts captivating lesson plans to share the joy of music with her students. Additionally, she excels as she guides students in concert preparation and plays a crucial role in boosting their confidence and fostering a sense of accomplishment. Furthermore, in her role as the Centre Director at Jane/Finch Sistema Toronto, Sama takes the lead in shaping programs for string classes, string orchestras, choir, and percussion. She actively builds connections with Sistema families, students, and teaching artists, contributing to the development of an inclusive and vibrant musical community.

Sama also serves as a Smart Start teacher at the RCM and takes the lead in camps. Her dedication is evident in creating a positive and supportive learning atmosphere that inspires students to explore and appreciate the world of music. Through her diverse roles, Sama demonstrates her expertise in enriching students' lives through music education and building a sense of community centered around the beauty of music.
