Paul Beeston

Paul Beeston is a retired sports executive and President Emeritus of the Toronto Blue Jays. He has held various roles in his illustrious career including as President and Chief Operating Officer of Major League Baseball (MLB), President of the Toronto Blue Jays, and President of the Toronto Argonauts. Mr. Beeston was also the first employee hired by the Blue Jays in 1976 and was key in the development of the SkyDome in the late 1980s.  

Mr. Beeston is a Member of the Order of Canada, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, and has received honorary degrees from Niagara University and University of Western Ontario.  In 2002, he was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame, and in 2017, was awarded the Conn Smythe Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of the significant contribution made to Canadian sport throughout his career.
