David Labrada More
David Labrada More is a Toronto-based performer, composer, music educator, and music producer. He will be joining a roster of acclaimed pedagogues and guest artists in August 2025 at The Royal Conservatory of Music’s inaugural Summer Piano Performance Intensive for high school students, where he will be teaching improvisation.
David is an award-winning musician and composer, winning First Place in the National Youth Jazz Competition in Havana, Cuba three years consecutively (2006-2008). As an educator with experience in both classroom and private instruction, David teaches jazz piano, voice, percussion, music theory, songwriting, and music production. He has developed curriculum for private school music programs, including ensemble direction for band and choir. He also has experience teaching music from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 as outlined by The Ontario Curriculum.
Founder of DLM.Music Production, David works with local and international artists including Ernesto del Alma (Canada), Irene Miguel (UK), Adonis Puentes (BC), Cassava Latin Band (Canada), Joel Sierra (Mexico), Mario y su timbeco (US), and Edglish (Azerbaijani).
David has a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Higher Institute of Art (Havana, Cuba) and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Toronto.
