She chose this piece because "the operatic character encapsulates many moments of Peter’s tenure as President. The unexpected and shifting harmonies of the work capture moments of optimism, hope, despair, magic, uncertainty ,incredible energetic forces, reflection and concluding with exuberant joy. All this being a mirror of a career well spent."
