Study at The Glenn Gould School

The Glenn Gould School (GGS) is The Royal Conservatory of Music's internationally recognized centre for professional training in music performance offering undergraduate, post-bachelor and post-graduate programs. Located in the heart of Toronto, one of the safest and most culturally diverse cities in the world, the GGS experience includes:

  • 50% more one-on-one studio time with internationally known faculty,
  • A nurturing learning environment with a purposefully small student body capped at 130,
  • Exciting performance opportunities in exceptional facilities, including the acclaimed Koerner Hall, and
  • Generous scholarship support with 70% of students receiving full scholarships.

Applications for the 2025-26 academic year for ALL programs (Bachelor of Music, Performance (Honours)*, Artist Diploma Program and Rebanks Family Fellowship and International Performance Residency Program) will be accepted from October 1, 2024 through December 15, 2024. 

Some tips for applying:

  • Please do not wait for the last day. Sometimes technical issues arise because so many people are submitting right at the deadline. Also, note that some required elements for the application may take time to prepare.

* This institution has been granted a consent by the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities to offer this program for a seven-year term starting October 12, 2017**. Prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that the program and the degree will be appropriate to their needs (e.g., acceptable to potential employers, professional licensing bodies or other educational institutions).

** The original consent remains in force beyond October 12, 2024, until the Minister of Colleges and Universities issues a final decision on the renewal.
